People tell you that your wedding day is the best day in your life, and it couldn’t be more true.
I’ve spent the past year convincing my now wife Louise Daly-Creechan (it’s so weird to see Daly-Creechan in writing) that I hate ‘Can’t Help Falling in Love With You’ so she wouldn’t include it in our service – only because I couldn’t think of a better song to surprise her with as it’s the only (vomit alert) song in the world that puts into words how I feel about her.
Thank you to everyone that helped out bringing this ridiculously thought from idea to reality. To Dominic, Ronan, Katy, Suzanne (our wonderful celebrant), Paula, Andrew, the wonderful Mad Props Theatre choir led by Alex and Hannah for picking up the solos and harmonies, to Paul for just being my piano rock as always, and to every The Cecilian Society past and current member for getting involved.
I have many more things to say, but I want to say a massive thank you to our families for everything that they have done to get us to the best day in our lives – especially my Mum who will probably end up being a Pinterest hero, and to our friends for always being there for us through thick and thin and through last minute wedding planning.
