See wife’s tear-jerking reaction after husband surprises her with flashmob
Carl Gilbertson showed wife Laura just how much she means to him by serenading her in a busy shopping centre
Carl Gilbertson knew he needed something very special to show his wife Laura how much she means to him on the 10th wedding anniversary.
So the thoughtful hubby pulled out all the stops and surprised her with a flashmob.
Carl, from Liverpool, organised the touching surprise in the city centre on Saturday with the help of pal Stephanie, the Head of Musical Theatre at Liverpool Media Academy.
He wanted to make their anniversary a day to remember for Laura, who suffers from multiple sclerosis, the Liverpool Echo reported .
Stephanie arranged for some of her students to come along and make the dream come true by singing Just the Way You Are.Mr Gilbertson said: “I was a lot more nervous on Saturday than I was on my wedding day. I’ll probably get a bit of stick from the lads when I get back to Anfield for the new season.”A flashmob’s serenade of Just the Way You Are made it a 10th wedding anniversary to remember for Laura Gilbertson.
