The U.S. Mission in collaboration with the NGO Committee on the Status of Women sponsored a flash mob at Geneva’s landmark ‘Place des Nations’ on Oct. 11, to celebrate the fifth anniversary of the International Day of the Girl and to highlight that states and their partners must take meaningful actions towards reaching Sustainable Development Goal 5: Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls.
